Episode 2: Music Therapy, Social Media & Students
Thanks so much for joining us for the second episode of our fledgling podcast! We hope you like what we have in store for you this month:

We welcome our first guest to the Round Table. Researcher and educator, Chris Gerben is a leading expert of the online literary habits of students. The four of us discuss how students use online media on a daily basis and it's implications for expanding the relationships within the music therapy community as a whole.

Episode 2: Music therapy, social media and students
Hey ladies (and Chris),

A very interesting interview. Chris, I thought it was a very astute comment you made with regard to music therapists needing to have their own experience of music therapy as a part of the learning process (at least that's how I interpreted what you said).

I also appreciated the reminders to be mindful as to how we choose to express ourselves online (this point was made particularly with regard to students, but obviously affects all of us). I will also have to give further thought as to how I can maintain my professional identity as not only a music therapist and a "regular person" (if I can actually be called "regular"), but also as a professional musician. I find it challenging to figure out how to present these various aspects appropriately and in a therapeutically conscious (for lack of a better way of expressing it) way on the internet.

Thanks, all, for a very thought-provoking interview!
